Download Skype for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and N97
If you are here, A newer version 1.1.7 of Skype has been released and you can get that from here.
Skype is one of the very popular communication application. I am sure most of us were using Skype service on our mobile using Nimbuzz.
Now we have Skype Lite mobile application for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and N97. Skype lets you make voip calls and free skype to skype calls.
You need to select the service provider in order to run the Skype application and i can see very limited service providers in the list. These service providers are-
- 3 UK
- 3 Ireland
- 3 Italia
- 3 Sverige
- 3 Danmark
- 3 Australia
- 3 Austria
- and 3 HK
The Skype mobile application supports multiple languages: English, Dansk, Deutsch, Francais, Italiano and Svenska.

It works very well in India. Download the latest version. I have provided the link of latest version at the top of this post. The version 1.1.7 works well in India. Try that

An easy way to install Skype in your Nokia 5800:
Open your web browser on your phone, enter the address www.skype.com/m and it will detect automatically which mobile you are using, and it will propose you to download Skype,
