Gmail IMAP Problem With Default Mail Client on Nokia 5800 XpressMusic

I am sure many of us would be facing the same problem with Gmail. The default built-in mail client which comes with Nokia 5800 XpressMusic does not work well with Gmail. The setup work just fine without any problem, but everytime when you connect to mail-box to retrieve new mail. It does not download new mails but disconnect as shown in the following image.

Gmail uses IMAP for incoming mail settings and I have already enabled IMAP access on my Gmail account but still it shows one or two mails and that too old ones and not the new mail. You can see in following image, after connection, it shows updating mailbox message but does not download a single mail.

On the other hand Yahoo! mail works just fine with almost identical settings. This might be a problem on Gmail side and not on Nokia 5800 side. If any of you guys faced the same problem and able to find solution for the same, then please share it here. It will be very helpful for others facing similar problem.
