Nokia 5800 Games

5 Star Games is a Java based Symbian S60 5th edition game which brings 5 different games under one umbrella. The game works on touch screen mobiles such as N97, N97 Mini, X6, 5230, 5233, 5530 XpressMusic, 5800 XpressMusic, Samsung i8910 Omnia HD and Sony Ericsson Satio.

These 5 different games are-

Checkers: Checkers is a board game where the objective is to capture all of your opponent's places by jumping over them. You win by taking all your opponent's pieces or cornering them so that they can't move. Players take turns moving their pieces diagonally. When a piece reaches the opponent's back row, it is crowned and becomes a king.
A king may move one square at a time both forward and backward. A king may capture in either direction as well. King's may be captured by other kings or standard pieces.

Sudoku: In Sudoku, the player must complete a 9x9 grid where each row, col and 3x3 square (called a region) can only have the numbers 1 to 9 in them once. Sudoku begins with some of the grid cells already filled with numbers. The object of Sudoku is to fill the other empty cells with numbers between 1 and 9 (1 number only in each cell) according to following guidelines:

1. Number can only appear once on each row. 
2. Number can only appear once in each column.
3. Number can only appear once in each region.

A number of these guidelines would be, that a number should appear only once on each row, column and a region.

Solitaire: Build sets of from king to ace in any suit within the columns. Complete sets of cards are removed the layout, build columns down in any suit can move as a unit, and can be split. The last card may also be moved. Empty columns may be filled with any card(s). Click on the stock deals another card to each column. The stock may not be clicked if any column is empty.

5 In a Row: Place pieces in an attempt to get 5 pieces in a row, whilst at the same time preventing your opponent from doing the same. Black always goes first, and because there is an advantage to going first. Black must get exactly 5 pieces in a row to win, whereas white can get 5 in a row or more to win.

Slitherlink: The aim of the game is to connect a single unbroken line around all numbers, without crossing over or branching, like a snake eating its own tail. If a square contains a number 3, this means that 3 sildes of the square must be bordered by lines, if 2, then 2 slides, and if 1, then one slide, Finally, if the square contains a 0, none of its sides must be lined. The easiest to deal with are 3s and 0s, if they are next to each other, it is simple to determine which of the sides must contain lines. The key to being successful at Sitherlink is learning to find patterns with the numbers.


The game is developed by Spacehoppers Studios and published by Player X. The game supports multiple languages like English, Espanol, Francais, Italiano, Deutsch and Portugues.
