WhatsApp is a smart messenger application for most smartphone platforms (iPhone, Blackberry, Android and Symbian) present in market. A new version 2.6.18 of WhatsApp messenger is available for Symbian^3, Symbian 3rd and 5th edition based touch screen mobile phones.


WhatsApp uses 3G or WiFi (available on your mobile) to message your friends and family. You can switch from SMS to WhatsApp to send and receive messages at no cost. It's a cross platform application which also provides group chat feature.


The application provides visual notifications when you have new chats waiting for you. It displays on the home screen of your device, such as you would see when you miss a call or a SMS message, allowing you know that you have a new chat waiting.


The version available here works on Nokia N8, C6, C7, E7, 5800 XpressMusic, 5530 XpressMusic, 5228, 5230, 5233, 5235, N97, N97 Mini, X6, E63, E71, E72, Samsung i8910 Omnia HD, Sony Ericsson Satio, Vivaz and Vivaz pro.
