Nokia 5800 Games

WiFi Talkie is a very interesting WiFi based application for Symbian^3 and Symbian S60 5th edition based touch screen mobile phones. The application simulates with all details Walkie –Talkie device. WiFi Talkie uses direct WLAN device to device connection and modern VoIP techniques to simulate Walkie-Talkie push to talk connection.

No paid GSM connections, no WLAN routers and access points, no central servers, no short range Bluetooth connections. Just pure, free WLAN point to point connection! The only thing you require is just free WLAN point to point connection. Just make sure two mobiles are in acceptable range and the launch WiFi Talkie application on both the devices.


That's it! All you need is: two Nokia Symbian mobile devices with WLAN support and WiFi Talkie application installed on both of these devices and there you go. The application is developed by Somyac and it offers very nice Walkie–Talkie like interface.


Whole pairing and connection process is done automatically, without user interaction. Just make sure two handsets are in range and launch WiFi Talkie application on both devices. The range of connection depends on the phone you have, environment and it varies from: 10 meters at home, between walls, up to 100, 150 meters in open space outside city rush.

The application works with Nokia N8, E7, C7, C6, X7, 5800 XpressMusic, 5530 XpressMusic, N97, N97 Mini and X6. Get the version 1.0.0 of WiFi Talkie application now.
